Happy New Year! Not many of you know I had surgery in late November and was not doing much in the way of creating for the next several weeks. If it wasn't for being able to work ahead and schedule my blog posts before the surgery and recovery time, I would have been gone the whole month of December. Now that I'm well on the way to full recovery, I'm looking forward to all that this new year holds.
This week Charlotte is hosting our Feminine "Anything Goes" Challenge. One of my favorite new dies from Taylored Expressions is the Display Easel Dies. It is so easy to make these calendars using the dies. In the coming, days I'll also show you some of the other ways you can use these dies.
Stamp Set: Colorful Seasons; Ink: Night of Navy; Cardstock: Berry Burst; Dies: Display Easel (Taylored Expressions); Patterned Paper: Hello Happiness (Taylored Expressions) Other: Pink Ribbon Rose
For all the challenge details and to share your project, visit the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge by clicking the image below. We’d love to have you join us. You have until Monday, January 8th at 6:00 p.m. Central Time to link up your project.
Thanks for stopping in at the Coffee Pot Stamping Cafe,
Marsha
Glad you're on the mend Marsha and back to creating. I love this little calendar easel and knowing that you can use a die for it makes it that much more fun. Calendars are such a nice gift for people at this time of year. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Penny! The die makes it so easy to make.
DeleteHi Marsha, what a handy die to own! The calendar turned out beautifully and stands so well on its own. Love the colours you've used, especially that sweet flower, not to mention that great sentiment.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heidi! I have more cut out in the new In Colors and am looking forward to putting them together.
DeleteI hope you're well on your way to a full recovery Marsha. This is such a cute little calendar. I love the way you can change the sentiment card displayed to compliment the month and allow individualisation.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Helen! I'm slowly but surely getting back to normal. It's just taking longer than I would wish. :-)
DeleteGreat creation, Marsha! It's so fun to see things other than cards once in a while :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Charlotte! I need to do more projects that aren't just cards.
