Watercooler Wednesday Challenges #89

Welcome to this week's edition of the Watercooler Wednesday Challenges.  It's a color challenge and Penny chose some beautiful colors for us.  For the butterfly, I used Silver Embossing Powder on Soft Sky.  It's really pretty and adds a bit of a shimmer to the butterfly.  Then, I cut it out using the Butterflies Thinlits Dies, of which I've neglected lately.  It that what happens when you have too much craft stuff, you forget what you have?

    Marsha I love your take on the sketch from CTS, it was perfect for this card. Your beautifully embossed butterfly looks gorgeous over that strip of honeycomb. This is such a simple yet elegant card and could be used for many occasions. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks, Penny! I love the colors you chose for this challenge. Some of my favorite and of course, I had to use the butterfly.

    Way to go, combining the two challenges, Marsha. Love that butterfly. Heat embossing the silver onto the Sky Blue makes it so dainty and elegant. I love the way you've used the honeycomb image to create that one long strip. Simple but very elegant. Love it!
