Thanks

Today I'm sharing a card I made for two of my favorite challenges; CAS(E) this Sketch and The Paper Players.  It's been a while since I've been able to contribute and it is so good to feel like sitting at my craft table again.

To the white card base I added a layer that I cut out of the Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack using the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits Dies.  The strip of stripes (say that fast three times in a row) is from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and stamped using Bermuda Bay ink.  The little branches are from the Botanicals for You stamp set and stamped using Calypso Coral ink.

I have a confession to make regarding the sentiment.  It's from the Banner Blessings stamp set and is stamped using Basic Black Archival ink.  I did originally stamp the sentiment directly to the front of the card but the ink didn't go on well so I tried to stamp over it and it looked like I had a nervous twitch just as I stamp to paper.  :-)  So, I stamped it on a piece of Whisper White using Basic Black Archival ink, cut it out using the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies and covered up the blurred image.  Not planned but it did work out okay.  To finish it off I added just a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

The sketch I used is from the CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

The colors I used are from The Paper Players challenge.

    1. Thanks, Sandy! I know what you mean. It took me several days to figure out what to do. Then, I saw a piece of the patterned sticking out of my stash and the idea hit. :-)
