Over the past couple of weeks, I've been doing some early spring house cleaning. While going through some boxes stored in my closet, I found three 6x6 canvases that a friend had given me. I love the mixed media canvases and I made this one for my granddaughter's room.
Stamp: Trust God; Ink: Raspberry Ripple; Card Stock: Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette, Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, Neutrals Designer Series Paper Stack/River Rock; Accessories & Tools: Hearts Collection Framelits, Full Heart Punch, Small Heart Punch, Bitty Buttons, Mini Brads/Silver, Linen Thread, Mini Glue Dots, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Craft Paint
Now I'm off to make something for the grandsons. Since it snowed yesterday and today is bitter cold, I plan to stay in where it is warm and cozy.
This is very nice! I bet you granddaughter is going to love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm now following your blog!

DeleteLooks very sweet Marsha. Love the dangling hearts they are so pink and girly. hugs Carolyn
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carolyn. My granddaughter is such girly girl! :-)
DeleteI've not thought to use a canvas for my stamping projects & this looks great. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting, Tricia. It's just like creating on a piece of card stock. I love the mixing of different media; paint, ink, paper.
DeleteWhat a great idea! Love the way your finished canvas looks. I have a canvas (larger) sitting behind me on my worktable and this just makes me want to use it even more. TFS
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heidi! I've got some 8x10s I want to work with next. I usually use those for my photo transfer canvases but want to try some mixed media art.
DeleteYour canvas project is super. I like the heart design. TFS.
