Who's up for a challenge of Tic-Tac-Toe? That's what Heidi has in store for us this week at Watercooler Wednesday Challenges. Diagonal, horizontal or vertical. You decide which one appeals to your creative sensibilities. Then, get busy and make that project and share it with us.
For my card, I chose the left vertical line. So, I made a birthday card using the Emboss Resist Technique and any shade of blue. I actually got in two shades of blue. The card base is Marina Mist. I stamped the sunburst from the Kinda Eclectic stamp set using VersaMark then, heat embossed using Tangerine Tango Embossing Powder. The plants are from the In the Meadow stamp set and were also stamped using VersaMark and heat embossed using Wild Wasabi Embossing Powder. Then, I sponged So Saffron over the sunburst and across the top. Next I sponged Marina Mist through the middle and finished off with some Garden Green over the embossed plants. Those cute little butterflies are from the In the Meadow stamp set and stamped using Night of Navy ink. The final step was to stamp the sentiment from the Butterfly Basics stamp set also using Night of Navy ink.

Thanks for stopping in at the Coffee Pot Stamping Cafe,

What an awesome card this is Marsha. I'd almost forgotten about Kinda Eclectic, and what awesome things you can do with that sun image. Thanks so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Penny! I love that sun image. I think it's the stamp I've used the most out of that set.
