I stamped the flower image from Butterfly Basics on Naturals White using Always Artichoke ink. Then, I stamped it again on some Natural White using Rich Razzleberry ink. I fussy cut those images and placed them on top of the first image. I really didn't want to add more patterned paper so, I stamped the honeycomb image from Butterfly Basics onto more Naturals White and used it as one of the banners.

This is gorgeous, Marsha! I love how the flower in the card mimics the flowers in the vase.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Buffy! Didn't even see that when I took the photo. :-)

DeleteSuch a good idea to have listened to that small voice, Marsha. Your card is stunning. I love the colours you were led to choose. I wish I had a small voice as a mentor. You've really made that Butterfly Basics stamp set come to life. And those pearls at the side: priceless! Thanks for being one of the Watercooler Artists.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Heidi! It's too bad I don't listen to it more often. :-)

ReplyDeleteThanks, Terri!
DeleteAbsolutely Beautiful! A calm and hushed feeling about it that brings serenity to the soul. Perfect for a Sunday entry. {grin} The elements (love the way you stamped the banner and it reflected the same honeycomb theme of the DS), colors and delicate lines have a very Asian feel to it. Or so it seems to me. Hugs and thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jean! It's my Sunday it was too cold to drive to church without heat in the car card. :-) Fortunately, my son stopped over this afternoon and fixed it up. Took him less than five minutes.
